    • The Shanghai Race Club is now considering British luxury heritage brands as supporters of its activities and events in 2010. These brands will gain unparalled value through awareness amongst buyers of luxury brands in Mainland China and association with an authentic and exciting story about high class living and associated 'gentlemen" culture. The Shanghai Race Club is the name of the original horse racing club started by the British in 1862. It's members were the elite of Shanghai including Sir Victor Sassoon, and Edward Moller (shipping tycoon), and the clubs - Ascot style - racing day social events were the highlight of the year for the city's high society. As a luxury heritage brand the Club now focuses on sharing the decadent lifestyle stories and amazing architectural/business achievements of the these original members to an audience of wealthy people across Mainland China.
