It was good to see so many Friends and Supporters at our
first AGM and I thank you all for attending.

Thanks Dave and have a lovely day! Our Guest Speaker was Anna HOYLE who was formerly the Strategic Development Manager of the East Cornwall Council for Voluntary Services (ECCVS). Sadly this organisation ceased B EST WISHES FOR a Happy Birthday to Ronald G. th SANDFORD for Thursday, 8 December 2011. Ron is a one of our Milk Team volunteers taking receipt of and delivering trading the day before! Anna spoke of the value of our milk each and every week. Thanks Ron and have a great communities and the involvement of committed persons in day! our communities. Anna said she drew her inspiration from such people. Anna was herself inspirational in her talk and I feel she instilled in us agreater confidence for the future. DCFA MEETINGS It was good to see so many Friends and Supporters at our first AGM and I thank you all for attending. Especial thanks to Maria MILLS and Staff of the Crown N OVEMBER 2011 Meeting took the form of DCFA’s first st Annual General Meeting and was held on Tuesday, 1 at The Crown Centre in Plymouth. Centre for allowing us to use their newly-refurbished premises and for feeding us so well! Finally my personal thanks to all DCFA Trustees and Co- N EXT MEETING. The next DCFA Board Meeting will be on th Tuesday, 6 December 2011 at The Shekinah Mission in Bath Street, Plymouth.   • 3. AN ARTICLE BY HAZEL ALEXANDER OTHER NEWS DCFA Co-opted Member to the Board of Trustees E AST CORNWALL COUNCIL FOR Voluntary Services (ECCVS). DCFA was saddened to read on the ECCVS website that I T’S AT THIS TIME of year I always put one or two extra items in my shopping trolley each week to go into my ‘Christmas cupboard’. This, combined with food-related gifts, and that st they were to cease operations on Sunday, 31 October 2011. Several DCFA volunteers have been fortunate enough to have frantic last minute just-in-case shop I always feel the need to received free courses of instruction from this very important do, all add up to an awful lot of food in the house.
