  • 4. Now that we have the page open we will need to add an image, or in thiscase a shape. To add a shape you go to the square shape and click on it,then you can select what shape you would like to use.
  • 5. You can then drag the shape across were you want it, and when you let gothe shape will appear where you left the outline.
  • 6. You can then click the mouse icon on the top right corner and this can allowyou to move the shape around.
  • 7. To transform a image you can go to edit, then to transform path, and youcan use any of the tools available to transform the picture, so in this case Iam making the picture larger, then smaller.
  • 8. You can use the Marquee tool to select a certain part of a picture, and thenyou can drag the box around where you want it and this can be used toselect certain parts of a picture.
  • 9. You can use the magnetic Lasso tool to cut out a picture by dragging itaround the image you may want to cut out, it will the ‘magnetically’ connectto the image and sect it all. As you can see there is a outline around thecharacters where the magnetic lasso tool has been.
  • 10. As you can see the whole image has now been selected and I cant cut it aswell as do other things to the image, as it is now selected.
  • 11. Here is the magic wand tool and as you can see you can select a certain[part of a picture and this will automatically selected the white area so Icould get rid of it.
  • 12. As you can see I have deleted the background of the picture so I only havethe image of the Simpsons and the white in the background has gone.
  • 13. Here is the quick selection tool, so you can quickly select an image to use, soas you can see the whole image has been selected and I can cut it out.
  • 14. Here is the crop tool, you can use it to cut of a part of an image and thenonce you have cropped the image it will appear on its on and take it awayfrom the whole image.
  • 15. Once you’ve selected the part of the image this box will appear and whenyou press the crop button the image will crop.
  • 16. As you can now see the image has been cropped and now only this part ofthe image is now only present.
  • 17. Here is the shape tool and as you can see I have drawn a square on the pageusing the tool. You can also choose different shapes like circles andhexagons.
