1. Introduction
Are accounts payables dealt with?
How LC information is communicated to the general membership and who is responsible?
What kind of training is done for the LC, when does it occur and who does it?
How often does the executive body meet formally?
How often does the general membership meet? What kind of meeting is it?
What are some of the LC traditions and who takes care of ensuring they are carried out?
This is particularly important in case there are a few new recruits on the EB.
2. LC Culture
Cover the negatives and positives of the LC work culture
Cover important traditions that bind the LC
Cover the positives and negatives of the LC fun culture
Cover what kind of Culture the LC needs to strike towards (bottom-line and so on)
Current reality of each subsystem Provide an understanding of how the LC operates.
Each member of the incoming executive must be made to understand the working of the LC. They
must be clear on the executive structure and its purpose and who should be responsible for each of the
major activity areas. Some examples of what to review with the incoming executive are as follows:
Who deals with the different financial responsibilities?
3. Sub-systems
Here all 5 Subsystems will be discussed with the entire EB.

4. History
Local Level History
Founder members.
History of LC and when it was started.
Performance of the LC in the last 5 years
People- Important alumni in the LC.
BoA, both past and present
Connect local events with national and international trends
Any major events in the LC in the past, for eg, when the LC was Upgraded/Downgraded.
When and how were the conferences hosted in the past/any major events.

2. National Level History
- The role of member committee and change-over to the concept of Services body.
- National direction
- National year plans
- Regional history and cooperation.
- National initiatives
International Level History
- International direction
- Change process. Shift from projects to exchange and the concept of Learning

5. Alumni Relations
- Who is responsible for it in the current team and who should be in the elect team?
- Important alumni contacts and engagement areas
- Alumni database
- Alumni events
Remember - It is highly recommended that J2J Part 1 is spread over 2 days and not hurried upon. This
meeting will set the tone, mood and energy levels for the transition period ahead. The Outgoing LCP must
ensure that all members of the current EB are present for this.
