  • 2. Children were often dressed as & treated like little adults.
  • 3. Children had to often work like adults
  • 4. Children work long hours with cotton fibers to make into fabric
  • 5. These lucky children could attend school rather than work
  • 6. Parents often had many children because many would not live
  • 7. Children often worked from sun up until sun down
  • 8. Parents and children work under poor lighting conditions
  • 9. Children work with machines that were dangerous
  • 10. Children were used to perform many farming tasks
  • 11. The hard labor often many children look old
  • 12. Children suffered from many health concerns
  • 13. Feeding a baby was a challenge with these baby bottles
  • 14. Boys or girls? They were often dressed and groomed alike.
  • 15. Childhood has certainly changed from the times past
