Short presentation of the school

Kupiskio Kupos Primary School was istablished in 1994 th. in the building wich previously was used as a kindergarden. Nowdays, there are 271 students in our school.

We have 12 groups from grade 1 to 4 and pre-primary one.

Our educational program emphasizes moral and artistic development of our kids.

Every grade has mandatory lessons of choreography.

We also want to care for the health of our kids through many sports activities.

For that reason we established additional sports programs using extra-curriculum time.

We have 22 people in our faculty.

. Every teacher has higher education and has an opportunity to rise their qualification through courses and seminars organized in our country.

Our pedagogues teach not only compulsory subjects but are trying to acquit their kids with cultural heritage of other countries. In order to pass on our cultural heritage and traditions teachers organise many celebrations and programs which support the protection of such heritage.

Through extra-curriculum activities we are trying to encourage our kids to participate in our school chorus

Our school is very proud of our puppet theatre

Our puppet theatre was founded 11 years ago. In 1998, their play “Wolf and Seven Kids” was the winners of “Molinukas” regional puppet theatre festival. In 2002, their play “Trivainelis” and in 2004, their play How a Piglet Swallowed the ABC book” brought the award of the winners of the national puppet theatre festival “Molinukas”

This year our theatre was the winner of the national puppet theatre too and had the posibility to partisipate in the 18 th international puppet theatres festival.

Our school also has its tradition celebrations such as Christmas Eve, the last bell, the 1-st of September, open-school days, European language days and so on.

Participating in this network, communicating with pedagogues of other countries our school is able to share and gain lots of usefull educational experience.

One day Asta was driving to Nordplus neibhour project

She meets very good friend Tiina there.

After this project Tiina gives suggestion to create another project and to invite Asta and h er friends. Asta is very joisfull, but Tiina replies that If Asta wants to partisipate, she and her friends have to make Johnny firstly.
