  • 2. Why Was The Statue Built• The Statue of Liberty was a gift from the French people to the United States as a token of mutual friendship.
  • 3. How Big Is The Statue Of Liberty ?• The Statue Of Liberty is a whooping 151 feet and 1 inch (46 meters) in height and from the ground to the touch it is the height of 305 feet and 1 inch (93 meters)
  • 4. What Does The Statue Stand For ?• The Statue of Liberty represents many things. She is a symbol of hope, freedom and liberty for all people. The statue also represents the friendship between nations who support and uphold freedom for all people.
  • 5. Who Designed The Statue Of Liberty ?• The Statue Of Liberty was designed by a Frenchmen named Frederic Auguste Bartholdi. With the help of Gustave Eiffel and Richard Morris Hunt the project under way.• Richard Morris Hunt worked on the architecture.• Gustave Eiffel worked on the manufacturing.

  • 8. What Year Was It Built In How Long Has It Been Standing For.• The construction of the statue began in September 1875 in France and in 1885 the statue was disassembled and shipped to New York City. But opening was in 1886.• The Statue of Liberty has been standing for around 122 years. WOW

  • 10. What I Think About The Statue?• I think that The Statue Of Liberty is a big piece of Americas history. I think it is amazing how long it has been standing for. And it is one of the most known landmarks in the world. And I think it is cool how it was built in France and disassembled and shipped to America to be reassembled and but in the very spot it is standing now. It is something that I one day would like to learn more about. It is a beautiful piece of art and I hope to see it one day. I think The Statue Of Liberty is special because it is unique for the architecture and how much work was put into it.
