Work - Life <ul><li>Work and Personal life need to be balanced otherwise result is harmful effects </li></ul><ul><li>Too many work hours may result in fatigue, injury, negativity, health issues, stress, productivity and effeciency issues, ruin relationships with family and friends etc. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Take control of work-life balance <ul><li>Identify things that are important for you to work towards healthier balance – the ones that you enjoy the most </li></ul><ul><li>Demands change with time like growing family, change of interests in life/work etc. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Take control of Work Life Balance <ul><li>Identify if your work load demands more working hours and learn to manage it – check if flex hours/ work from home few days in a week is the option </li></ul><ul><li>Setting clear expectation at work and also at home do not expect things to be super “clean” </li></ul>

Take control of work-life Balance <ul><li>Open communication at work and with Family / Friends will minimize gaps </li></ul><ul><li>Learn to say “no” – this is key for those obligatory work one does for no credit gain – also same for outside of work tasks </li></ul><ul><li>Take a time management session – helps with managing time effectively </li></ul><ul><li>Learn to be organized </li></ul>

Take control of work-life Balance <ul><li>Women need to fight the guilt of having job and family </li></ul><ul><li>It is ok to ask for help and if some one is offering help do not hesitate to take it </li></ul><ul><li>Take a time management session – helps with managing time effectively and learn to be organized </li></ul>
  7. 7. Take control of work-life Balance <ul><li>Consciously separate work and personal time </li></ul><ul><li>Take time off to go travelling with Family and Friends – you do not want to wait to retire to go on vacation when one could be challenged by health issues </li></ul>
  8. 8. Conclusion <ul><li>It is a continuous process to evaluate your current situation of work life needs and work with it. If you think of Healthier life it needs to be Balanced. </li></ul>
