The awards will be presented at a dinner reception held at Los Angeles City Hall. It is our hope that by showcasing projects that offer cutting-edge design, and that offer innovative approaches in terms of housing and services model and community improvement, we can help play a role in ending chronic homelessness in Los Angeles.” Also during the event, Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH) will launch its first annual Supportive Housing Champion awards which will honor individuals and  
  2. 2.   organizations that have demonstrated extraordinary leadership in advancing supportive housing creation in Los Angeles County. CSH is a national nonprofit community development financial institution which provides the advocacy, expertise, leadership, and financial resources to make it easier for local communities to create and operate supportive housing. The Supportive Housing Champion awards are sponsored by JP Morgan Chase & Co. CSH 2010 Supportive Housing Champions Political Leadership Jan Perry, President Pro Tempore, Los Angeles City Council, Ninth District Private Sector Leadership Conrad N. Hilton Foundation Government Leadership San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments “These Supportive Housing Champions exemplify boundary-crossing leadership which consistently works to deploy systems and resources to move the needle on supportive housing production,” noted Jonathan Hunter, CSH Managing Director. “They serve as role models and ambassadors of the supportive housing movement.
