  12. 12. Multi-Channel? Cross-Channel! The key difference between multichanneled and crossmedial services is in their degree of synergistic specificity. A multichanneled service is often low in synergistic specificity as it is usually primarily operated on one platform. However, crossmedial services are more synergistic in that they only become fully functional when their components are used in combinations.http://www.slideshare.net/morville/ubiquitous-information-architecture-crosschannel-strategy

  15. 15. Pervasive IA Information is going everywhere, bleeding out of we thought was cyberspace and back into the real world: increasingly, many tasks we perform every day not only constantly require us to move between different media, but actually have us move from the digital to the physical environment and back. Computation is everywhere, and so are search and interaction. Its time to move beyond the computer screen to design information space in these new ubiquitous ecologies.http://pervasiveia.com/
