  • 3. Types of TVCs Demonstration  Theentire TVC is a display designed to prove the superiority of the product. Problem solution  Thestoryline says I have a big problem and I’m upset, enter the product, the problem is solved and I am ever grateful.
  • 4.  Product as a star  The ad focuses on the product. The product itself acts in the ad. Spokesperson  Single camera focused on the spokesperson telling good things about the product.
  • 5.  Storyline  Showing a complete story in the ad, like a short feature film. Musical ad  Music is the most important element that takes the ad story forward. Difficult to write a storyline for them , hence a concept is presented.
  • 6.  Vignette  Uses more than one similar stories in one ad to drive the message home e.g. Iodex Animation  Handdrawn or computer generated video work. Maybe combined with live action shots e.g. Colgate Herbal
  • 7.  Stop action  Somewhere between true animation and live action. It is an animation technique to give life to inanimate real-life objects.
