    2. DESIGN Is every where. It translates an idea into something useful. It combines and manipulates different types of media, such as Text, Sound, Video, Computer Graphics and Animation. Web Design and Animations use designs as a means to communicate, educate and entertain. Design aids in selling a product or idea through effective visual communication.
    3. Web Design is the creation of web sites with  various computer software and development tools  A web site is a collection of files and related resources accessible through the World Wide Web and organized under a particular domain name e.g. (.com or .net).  Typical files found at a Web site are HTML documents with their associated graphic image files (GIF, JPEG, etc.), scripted programs (in Perl, CGI, Java, etc.), and similar resources. The site's files are usually accessed through hypertext or hyperlinks embedded in other files.

    5. Process of giving the illusion of movement to drawings, models, or inanimate objects  using a computer programme. For example, the program currently used to display this information to you can produce animation. The below icon is an example of animation.     6. The Final Year Show is a production put on by final year Carimac students. It entails a show case of finished products of designs produced by talented multimedia students. The final products are based on the use of any soft ware and techniques taught and or learnt over the duration. These soft wares include Adobe Photo shop, Adobe After effects, Adobe Illustrator and Final Cut. These soft wares aid in the process of Designing.
