Social Coins ENG

  1. 1. Social Coins Expenseless donations November, 2013
  2. 2. Problem: Donations mean spending your time and money • From the beginning of time people have helped each other.
This is the basical part of our social interaction. • Numerous charity organizations work in this field, they satisfy human need to be useful to others. • They have serious issues: you have to give your money away and you have to trust them and the results are not always clear, you can’t just see it with your own eyes.
  3. 3. Solution: Crowdfounding platform • • • We’ve created the platform for people in need to speak out loud about their problems or their dreams and get real helped in money. Ones who’d like to support those people don’t have to give any money away. The only thing they should do is to post an advertisement on their social network account.
  4. 4. Platform: How it works? 1. Anyone can share his or her problem or a dream and claim a sum up to US$400 that could be enough for him or her to get happy.
  5. 5. Platform: How it works? 2. Advertisers add their ads to the left section of the site.
  6. 6. Platform: How it works? • The only thing the user has to do is to drag a coin from the left section of the site and drop it on any project he’d like to support. • Thereby, the chosen advertisement gets automatically posted on his social network. At the same time the chosen project gets money for the post. • We also validate every user account through Klout.com to keep Social Coins botfree.
  7. 7. Is it Real? • Nowadays every Internet user is a tiny online media with average reach of 100 people • Content shared by 10 000 users simultaneously can easily reach an auditory of solid one million people (small city) • Advertisers are normally ready to pay the price of US$0.1 to US$1 for each advertising post at an average social network account. • Thus, you only need 500 advertising posts US$0.2 apiece to collect one hundred dollars for new glasses.
  8. 8. Business model: 10% commission We are gonna explore Online-Ad Market. We intend to collect 10% commission on every transaction made at Social Coins paltform.
  9. 9. Marketing: Social Coins is easy! • In order to keep site mechanics clear and fun for users we’ve created Social Coins – bright and simple ideograph that is equal to a social network advertising post that can be converted into real money. • While dropping coins on people’s projects, users feel like participating in kinda game that is very easy to learn.
  10. 10. Marketing: Everybody can become a Hero • Every user who once drops coin & tweets for any project becomes our Hero. • Heroes increase their Karma and get involved in global rating & achievements system • Heroes compete in helping people and share their progress with friends on the Internet.
  11. 11. Future plans: Universal donation system Before Social Coins After Social Coins Donate by tweeting Ad • As soon as the Social Coins platform gets popular we are gonna open API for integrating our donation system to any web site. • Our goal for the next year is to add our “Donate by tweet” button on Wikipedia.
  12. 12. Competitors: Traditional crowdfunding platforms • We have several competitors in the field of crowdsourcing donation platforms
(you can see detailed review for each one in Appendix of this presentation) • But there are no competitors, who can convert crowd social media power into money for donations.
