- About Dr. Mejia earned a B.S.E in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. Dr. Mejia then completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. He completed his Dermatology residency training at the University of Kansas Medical Center where he was Chief Resident. During this time, Dr. Mejia received specialty training in Lasers and Mohs surgery. He also trained with one of the leading vein surgeons in sclerotherapy and ambulatory phlebectomy.
