    2. We live in a fast food nation.
    3. Different types of novices
      • Throwing things together
      • Don’t know where to begin
      • Some skills, lack guidance and confidence
    4. Many novices call others for help.
    5. Issues with the Phone
      • Difficult to show your helper what’s going on
      • Difficult for the helper to demonstrate through gestures and show example tools
      • Video conferencing was not made for the kitchen
      • What happens if the helper isn’t around to help next time?

      • Interface is too demanding – too many camera angles for the video conference/recording interface
