  4. 4. INTRODUCTION<br />PCR is one of the most important technique and it is also a key procedure in numerous basic studies involving DNA molecules. <br /> All methods for PCR are based on the concept of DNA strand complementarity .<br />
  5. 5. A NEW ROLE OF GLYPICAN-3 IN HEPATOCELULAR CARCINOMA<br />
  6. 6. A NEW ROLE OF GLYPICAN-3 IN HEPATOCELULAR CARCINOMA<br />GPC3 is a member of the glypican family of glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored cell-surface heparan sulfate proteoglycans. <br />
  7. 7. A NEW ROLE OF GLYPICAN-3 IN HEPATOCELULAR CARCINOMA<br />GPC3 is highly expressed in HCC cells and tissues. It is thought that GPC3 joins a multiprotein complex, which is composed of the ligand, receptor, GPC3, and probably other proteins. <br />
  8. 8. A NEW ROLE OF GLYPICAN-3 IN HEPATOCELULAR CARCINOMA<br />This is the first study to report that GPC3, in conjunction with MMPs and growth signaling molecules, might play an important role in the progression of HCC.<br />
