  4. 4. Don’t fake it  Don’t apply for “everything”, pick and choose  Make it real. Be honest about what you can offer this brand  Does it work with your brand, and your style?  Look to the brands you already use & love

  6. 6. Explore and learn!  Assess their social media footprint – where can you help?  Monitor what they have done with other bloggers  Understand their brand objectives  Follow them, engage with them
  7. 7. 3. Be their #1 Fan
  8. 8. Start off slow!  Build relationship with a brand.  Cold calls are “ok” but have a lower chance of sale  Engage with the brand socially. Show support. Be their Biggest fan.

  10. 10. When pitching it remember…  What can you do for them?  Why are you so special? (your numbers, your brand)  What will the ROI be of working with you  What are your fees?  Offer them choices  Give them a “package rate”

  12. 12. Run it like a business  Celebrate your success  Assess the plan  Refine the package  Bill and get organized

  14. 14. Be unique, be yourself, and be awesome  Find a unique way to run your campaign  Be professional and on time  Ask questions, give suggestions, take feedback  EDIT  Take great pics  Be creative and approach from a fresh angle
