  • Sociologist• What are people’s needs?• Food is just one of many human requirements. How many can you list?• Work with the Geographer and Researcher to help answer the question “Is the world over populated”
  • Geographer• Work with the Sociologist. You need to think about out HOW people’s needs can be met. You will have many questions, for example How many people live on Earth? Where are the world’s resources to be found? How much farmland / fresh water is available to the human population.• The Researcher will find out the answer to 5 of your questions. Stay focussed on the title question. “Is the world over populated”
  • Researcher• You job is to answer any questions that the Group Leader, Sociologist or Geographer has.• You have to show the teacher your questions BEFORE you leave the room.• You can research a maximum of 5 questions during the lesson.
  • Designer• Your task is to oversee the group’s final presentation. It could be a PowerPoint, poster, speech video blog post, whatever you like.• During the planning lessons you must work closely with the Group Leader, Sociologist and Geographer and make notes about the content that has to be created.
  • Group Leader• The success of the presentation is on you.• You have to work closely with the Sociologist and the Geographer during the planning stage. Make certain that your group stay focused on answering the title question. You will have to sign off on any requests made by the researcher.• Later, you will need to work carefully with the Designer and ensure that everyone is involved in the final presentation.
