INTRODUCTION Amsterdam is the capital and largest city of the Netherlands, located in the province of North Holland in the west of the country. The city, which had a population (including suburbs) of 1.36 million on 1 January 2008, comprises the northern part of the Randstad, the sixth-largest metropolitan area in Europe, with a population of around 6.7 million. The city is the financial and cultural capital of the Netherlands. Many large Dutch institutions have their headquarters there, and 7 of the world's top 500 companies, including Philips and ING, are based in the city. In 2010, Amsterdam was ranked 13th globally on quality of living by Mercer, and previously ranked 3rd in innovation by 2thinknow in the Innovation Cities Index 2009.

Transport NovotelAmsredam Airport provides airport pick transport facility to its customers, Just you need to give details of your flight timings while registration. After reaching there I did nothing just relaxed in the room and went to the pub in same Hotel.
Day 2 (26-11-10) City Tour 2.5-hr Amsterdam city tour with Royal Palace, National Monument, Skinny Bridge, canals, Albert Cuyp Market, stop at diamond factory. Includes 1-hr cruise along Amsterdam's famous canals. From INR 10,000. After this tour hired a Bicycle at INR 2000 for One Day and went to Old City Church and Red Light District. Contd… During night went to Red Light District( It is somewhat of a sexual amusement park and often not taken too seriously by the hordes of tourist who frequent it. The famous red window lights are striking against the quaint, old canal houses and even the fairy lights that line the bridges at night are coloured red) and had a wonderful time, enjoyed a delicious non.veg meal with alcohol. Day 4 (28-11-10) Booked a TCA taxi worth INR 8000 and went to Albert Cyup Market ( It is arguably the best-known and busiest outdoor market in Europe. It attracts thousands of visitors every day, and is especially popular on Saturdays. There are over 300 stalls and goods range from fresh produce, to clothes, to odds and ends, with prices among the cheapest in Amsterdam. The market is located in the Pijp district, surrounded by many pleasant cafes and small shops) did some shopping and enjoyed a delicious cheese. Contd… Then went to MagereBrug (The famous skinny bridge across the river Amstel and opposite of the Carré theatre, is an Old Dutch design wooden bridge known as a double-swipe (balanced) bridge). in the same taxi and had a lovely sight seeing and happy time in a boat.
