  • The Beverley Hamilton Learning Resource Centre
  • Beverley Hamilton The Learning Resource centre was renamed in memory of Beverley Hamilton who worked at Whitefield school from September 1992 until her untimely death in December 2005. She is remembered with great affection and respect by those who knew her at Whitefield, as an inspirational teacher colleague and friend. - 30 November 2006
  • The Learning Resource Centre
    • The LRC has approximately 5,000 non fictions titles, and 5,000 fictions titles.
    • There are several reference books including CD Roms, DVD’s, and Newspapers.
    • If there is a book you like, let us know and we can order it for you.

    • About three things I was absolutely positive.

    • Second , there was a part of him- and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be- that thirsted for my blood.

    • Monday: Year 7, 8 and 9
    • Tuesday: Reading Club only
    • Wednesday: Year 10 and 11
    • Thursday: Year 10 and 11
    • Friday: Year 7,8 and 9
    • After school the LRC is open to all for Homework Club
  • Code of Conduct
    • The LRC is for research and quiet study only.
    • Keep your voice down.
    • No computer games
    • No food
    • No running
    • Respect books
    • Respect the LRC staff, they are there to help you.
    • Put chairs back under the tables
    • Leave the library CLEAN AND TIDY
  • Duties of Library monitors
    • We tidy the library
    • We shelve books
    • We issue and return books
    • We deal with enquiries and requests from students and staff
    • We promote books to other students
    • We help at special events like author visits
    • We do displays
  • Suggestions box
    • The LRC has a suggestions box for students to use. You can let us know of any changes you want to see in the library.
