I have been working as an academic in the Centre for Applied Psychology at the University of Canberra since 2004. I previously taught outdoor education at the University of New Hampshire (2001-2003) and prior to that was the research coordinator and an instructor at Outward Bound Australia (1998-1999).
My main areas of research expertise are:
1. Measurement of psychological change, particularly with regard to program evaluation of group-based interventions
2. Psychometrics
3. Life effectiveness (life skills), resilience, coping, and self-concept
4. Outdoor and experiential learning - processes and effects
