Children of Wonderworld Presentation Transcript

  • 1. The Children of Wonderworld
  • 2. Scene One There is a place. This place is a circus and this circus is called wonderworld!
  • 3. Scene Two In this circus there are children who perform in different and wonderful ways
  • 4. The wonderchildren There is Woolen boy, made out of wool, whose special talent is to help people feel the warmth they have lost
  • 5. There is Mirror Girl whose special talent is to reflect people`s highest self
  • 6. There is Queen Bee who brings different children and people together in one place
  • 7. Then there is the circus ring leader Mr. Teeth who directs the performers to give their best to the audience.
  • 8. Scene Three Everyday, all the children perform their special talents for a big audience with the Queen Bee
  • 9. Everyday, the audience cry and cheer, “Wow! What a wonderworld”! they cannot believe their eyes!
  • 10. Suddenly a boy shouts “Booo”! from the audience to the Woolen Boy performing in the ring. They get louder and louder “Boo! Booooo! Hiss!”.
  • 11. scene five A moment later, wool flies off from Woolen boy`s arms into the audience and covers one girl completely in wool, until she cannot breathe. Shocked and afraid the audience runs out of circus.
  • 12. Scene Six The next day the audience has shrunk. Mr. Teeth says to the Wonderchildren “The show must go on”!
  • 13. Scene Six Continued The Mirror Girl comes onto the stage and spins around shooting four mirrors into each corner of the circus. The audience look up, to see reflections of themselves in a wonderful way, they cheer!
  • 14. Scene Six Continued Suddenly, a group of boys and girls in the audience are shouting “Booo”!!! “Boooo”!! and they get louder and louder. Then, the mirrors cloud over with dark, black fog and the audience gasps as the black fog looks back at them. Frightened, the audience run out of wonderworld circus.
  • 15. Scene seven The circus maestro, Mr. Teeth, steps into the ring and says: “This show must go on”!
  • 16. Scene seven continues “Our Turn”! “We`ll Do It”! Shout the boys and girls from the audience. They stop booing and jump into the ring pushing the Wonderchildren aside
  • 17. These boys and girls spin around and around in their shiny costumes and throw bright coloured sweets “Wow”! “Ahhh”! the audience cheer and catch the sweets and eat them all up. Then they watch these new performers.
  • 18. Scene Seven continues Mr. Teeth smiles because the audience stays in the wonderworld circus.
  • 19. Queen Bee, is unhappy at what she sees “Bring back the children of wonderworld”! she says to Mr. Teeth. The boys in the ring laugh and one says “Ha ha! Why? They`re useless”!
  • 20. Scene Seven continues “Stop”! Says, Mr. Teeth. “This show must go on! Who will perform?”
  • 21. Scene Seven continues Suddenly the Queen Bee climbs the tall ladder to the tight-rope thread, high above the circus ring and begins to walk across.
  • 22. Woolen boy sees her, jumps to his feet and spins wool from his hands to knit a big, woolen blanket beneath her, for safety. Queen Bee walks, carefully on the thin, tight-rope. The audience claps and cheers!
  • 23. Scene Seven continues The boys and girls in shiny costumes, throw more and more sweets at the audience, but the audience are not looking at them. They are all looking up at Queen Bee walking carefully across the thin, tight rope.
  • 24. Then, a boy from these performers shouts at the Queen Bee, she wobbles, on the thin, tight-rope, nearly falling. Mirror Girl suddenly jumps to her feet, climbs the ladder and holds up a mirror to Queen Bee.
  • 25. Scene Seven Continues The Queen Bee looks in this mirror and sees a wonderful reflection! She is dancing on the thin, tight-rope, with all the children and all the people in wonderworld behind her, supporting her. With this beautiful sight she walks, confidently to the end of the rope.
  • 26. Scene Fourteen The audience stands to their feet and claps and cheers! The wonderchildren smile and feel alive! The audience smile and feel alive! The whole of the wonderworld feels alive!
  • 27. “Where`s the shiny boys and girls”? Asks someone in the crowd. Everyone looks left, looks right and then looks all around, but no-one can see them anywhere!
  • 28. When everyone goes to leave, mirror girl gives them all a pocket mirror. Every-time they hold it up to each other, they too can see everyone in wonderworld supporting them and then they realise their own special powers, to share with the world.
