    • Institutional Responsibility for Commission Polices Substantive Change, Compliance with Commission Policies, and Representation of Status with the Commission
    • 3.12 Substantive Change X Compliance
      • Jackson State University has been required to submit prospectuses to the Commission for Substantive Change.
      • Those include the establishment of the undergraduate engineering programs and the Doctor of Public Health program.
      • All other modifications to academic programs and services have been approved by SACS after JSU provided proper notification
    • 3.13 Compliance with Other Commission Policies X Compliance
      • This standard addresses the annual reports required by the Commission
      • Those reports include the Institutional Profile for General Information and Enrollment ( completed by Institutional Research ) and the Institutional Profile for Financial Information ( completed by the Office of Financial Services ).
    • 3.14 Representation of Status with the Commission X Partial Compliance
      • Jackson State University accurately publishes information related to accreditation with the Commission.
      • However, new content has been added to the standard which reads:
      • … the Commission is to be contacted only if there is evidence that appears to support and institution’s significant non-compliance with a requirement or standard.
      • This is being corrected in the revisions to the academic catalogs.
