    Consistently update my Twitter page
    Establish a following for my personal brand

    Facebook: A way of promoting my online brand with in my network of friends
    NING: Humber website that allows students to be in constant contact
    LinkedIn: To create a professional profile with full education and work history
    Networking in social and occupational situations

    People who are interested in learning about the latest trends and staying current in popular culture
    Manufacturers of beauty and fashion products
    Restaurateurs and food industry personnel
    Event planners, photographers, stylists, Public Relations executives
  • 7. About Me
    I graduated from the School of Liberal Arts in 2004, then went on to Dalhousie University where I majored in History. Although history was a passion of mine, it was the world of pop culture, the emerging world of celebrity media, the latest fashion trends in which I was truly interested.
    I wanted to go into a program that would incorporate all of my interests; which led me to the Humber College Public Relations program. Here I can combine my creativity, great people skills and my writing abilities towards building a future career in PR
  • 8. Strategy
    To become a recognized persona in the virtual world:
    Consistent use of several media outlets (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Vimeo and my personal blog) will increase exposure to my brand
    I believe that consistent use of opportunities to network will also increase my exposure with in the public relations industry
  • 9. Tactics
    Tie blog to Twitter account for easy navigation
    Optimize exposure by having sophisticated tagging and site optimization
    Easy accessibility of my brand on multiple social media platforms
    Constantly reinforce my existing relationships with in the pubic relations field as well as develop new contacts

    Jan-May:
    meet fellow Humber PR students to form my network base
    Establish contact and develop mentoring relationship
    May-Aug:
    Update and advance resume
    Initiate prospective internship opportunities
    Aug-Nov:
    Apply for jobs in the public relations field
