  7. 7. About Me<br />I graduated from the School of Liberal Arts in 2004, then went on to Dalhousie University where I majored in History. Although history was a passion of mine, it was the world of pop culture, the emerging world of celebrity media, the latest fashion trends in which I was truly interested.<br /> I wanted to go into a program that would incorporate all of my interests; which led me to the Humber College Public Relations program. Here I can combine my creativity, great people skills and my writing abilities towards building a future career in PR<br />

Strategy <br />To become a recognized persona in the virtual world:<br />Consistent use of several media outlets (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Vimeo and my personal blog) will increase exposure to my brand<br />I believe that consistent use of opportunities to network will also increase my exposure with in the public relations industry <br />

Tactics<br />Tie blog to Twitter account for easy navigation<br />Optimize exposure by having sophisticated tagging and site optimization<br />Easy accessibility of my brand on multiple social media platforms<br />Constantly reinforce my existing relationships with in the pubic relations field as well as develop new contacts<br />

Measurable Objectives<br />Jan-May: <br />meet fellow Humber PR students to form my network base<br />Establish contact and develop mentoring relationship<br />May-Aug:<br /> Update and advance resume<br />Initiate prospective internship opportunities<br />Aug-Nov:<br />Apply for jobs in the public relations field <br />
