Simply google ‘download jing’ and click on the first website.
Download the free version and install it onto your computer
Once you have installed it, there will be a little sun on top of your screen. Hover your mouse over it to bring up the menu.
Click on this one to capture a picture or video of your screen as you see it.
It will then bring you up with crosshairs which you can click and drag. The area you have chosen will be seen in colour.
At the bottom of your selected area, there are a list of multimedia options
The options here are the same as the ones in images
Jing is a program which allows you to take images and record videos of your screen.
It is free to download program. You can use the basic features for free but the better, more advanced features you need to pay for. It costs $14.95 for the upgrade. It supports both MAC and PC.
I think Jing would be a great program for the school to use. If a teacher was away and wanted to show you how to use a program, she could Jing it and send it to the students. It is ideal for showing tutorial videos.
