First High School of Spain
The former “Balearic High School” was founded in 1836. It was located in the seat of the formerly closed “Balearic University”. This institution moved twice in different places of the historical centre, close to the Palma's Cathedral.
It was considered during a century the first and the only high school in our country.
“ General Technics High School”
At the end of the XXI century it became “General Technics High School”

“ RAMON LLULL SECONDARY SCHOOL” IT CALLED NOW WHAT’S? RAMON LLULL HIGH SCHOOL
The present building, as we can see at the picture, was inaugured in 1916. It was called “Ramon Llull” in honour to a great Majorcan philosopher and writer from the XIII century.
Since that time has been distinguished by its tolerance and, in some cases, ultramodernity for a society so conservative as the Majorca's was .
