Positive affect is observed among students as observed in laughing, smiling, giving praise, etc. Students demonstrate comfort in constructively and appropriately challenging ideas of other students or their teacher as part of content discussions.
Questions to Ponder: Were student successes acknowledged? How did the students know if they were successful? Were students actively participating? What motivated the students to learn/ participate in the activities? How was peer respect fostered? What role did the teacher play? What did you notice about student behaviors?
