Session DescriptionThis session at Blackboard Collaborate Connections Summit sharedNorthern Illinois Universitys journey offering live online facultydevelopment workshops using Blackboard Collaborate as well as makingonline workshop archives available for on-demand viewing eitheronline, in iTunes, or on a mobile device. Emphasis was placed on NIUsstep-by-step workflow for using Publish! in conjunction with BlackboardCollaborate to create MP4 versions of archives suitable for viewing onlineas well as on mobile devices to deliver archived online facultydevelopment programs in podcast form. The presentation includesconsiderations for hosting archives outside Blackboard Collaborate aswell as the steps necessary to create a podcast RSS feed, submit to theiTunes store, and update the necessary files when a new MP4 archivefrom Blackboard Collaborate is generated. 4
