Solution I Use standard codecs and bit rates Uncompressed or DV .avi Mainly used as high quality container for captured video that is to be output for DVD or Film. DIVX Now supported by many hardware manufactures Mpeg1 can be good for downloading – decent quality Mpeg2 for output as DVD Quicktime, Windows Media, Realmedia, Flash FLV for streaming Mp4 for downloading and portable devices
