- Slide 3: Major Installations • Lighting System – Patchboard • Intercoms – IFB (interruptible Feedback or interruptible foldback) or IEM (in-ear monitor) systems are used in broadcast and motion picture production for crew communication, audio monitoring and cueing. • Monitors/Speakers
- Slide 4: Studio Production • Positions – Producer - A Television producer oversees the making of television programs. In television, creative control usually rests with the producer. In the news room decides what order the stories are shown. – Director- A television director is usually responsible for directing the actors and other filmed/taped aspects of a television production. – Technical Director – Follows director cues and runs the switcher.
- Slide 5: – Sound Director - – Floor Director- keeps things running smoothly, communicates between the director and talent. In charge of cueing the talent in the studio. Makes guests feel comfortable. Gives time cues. – Assistant Director- One of his most important jobs is to remind the director of the time left.
- Slide 6: – Cameras/Grips -trained lighting and rigging technicians. The person who helps cameras execute moves or assists wherever needed in the studio. – Tape/C.G. Operators – VTR director is in charge of running the tapes.
