  • 2. Creativity<br />Try to think of one example of when you were creative whilst producing your media coursework.<br />
  • 3. What is creativity?<br />‘the ability to bring something new into existence’<br />What do you think are examples of creative skills?<br />
  • 4. Originality<br />What elements of your AS and A2 coursework are original to you?<br />
  • 5. Influences<br />What existing media texts influenced your work at AS and A2, i.e. which elements are less creative?<br />How does this relate to your use of genre?<br />How did your chosen genres influence your production?<br />
  • 6. Audience<br />How successfully do you think your products will appeal to the audience?<br />
  • 7. Detailed Examples<br />Think of specific examples of creativity in the production process?<br />How did you make creative use of camerawork, editing, mise-en-scene, etc. at AS and A2?<br />
  • 8. Progression<br />How do you think your creativity has progressed from AS to A2?<br />
  • 9. Exam Format<br />Need to show a sense of progression.<br />Reflect on and evaluate what you did.<br />Use specific and relevant examples.<br />Use production and conceptual terminology.<br />
  • 10. Essay Plan<br />1(a) Describe how your creativity developed through the production of your coursework. Refer to a range of examples in your answer to show how these skills developed over time.           <br />How would you answer this question?<br />Create an essay plan showing how you would structure your answer, and bullet-pointing the key points you would make. Include specific examples you could use to support the points you make.<br />
  • 11. Assessment<br />Think about the assessment criteria for this question. Do you think an answer based on your essay plan would allow you to achieve a Level 4?<br />
