RALLY MONDAY, JULY 26, IN SUPPORT OF EQUAL OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL AMERICANS What: Twenty years ago on July 26th, President George H.W. Bush signed into law the Americans with Disabilities Act. Rand Paul, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Kentucky, opposes provisions in the ADA requiring businesses to provide reasonable accommodations to those with disabilities. Now, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, whose father signed the ADA into law, is helping Rand Paul raise money for his campaign. Jeb Bush should be ashamed to support a politician that stands against his father’s values and American values. Tell them all Americans, including all persons with disabilities, should have equal access to opportunities!
