    • In the Bible the gentiles referred in general as “Heathen”
    • The word “heathen” means “foreigner”
    • “ Foreigner or stranger” to the revealed “Truths of God”
    • (Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the
    • creature more than the Creator - Rom.1: 25)
    • (Being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of
    • promise, having no hope, and without God in the world (Eph. 2: 12)
    • Bible reveals the truth of God; the unity of God, “ELOHIM” (Gen. 1: 1)
  • 4. GENTILES
    • Origin or history of gentiles
    • At the dawn of the history there was no such distinction
    • So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and
    • female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful,
    • and multiply, and replenish the earth (Gen.1: 27-28)
    • These were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
    • These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their
    • nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
    • (Gen: 10: 32)
    • From Babel they were scattered
    • Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the
    • language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon
    • the face of all the earth (Gen.11: 9) H ath determined the times before appointed, and
    • the bounds of their habitation (Acts.17: 27)

    • Religion of Gentiles
    • The religion of gentiles as common is “Heathenism”
    • With all its unprofitable and impotent factors, is greatest contradiction to the revelation of the one and only true and living God.
    • (Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them- Rom.1: 19 )
    • Gentiles with all their fanciful beliefs in their god of their imaginations and
    • inventions are foreigners to the truths of God
    • (Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful;
    • but became vain in their imaginations- Rom.1: 21 )
    • A system of theology embracing all religions and the knowledge of all gods is Pantheism (teaches god present in everything)
    • (LORD SAYS- I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.- Is.44: 6 )
    • (Their doctrine of the plurality of gods contradicts the truth of God)
  • 11. GENTILES

    • The men of Hamath made Ashima, and
    • The Avites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and
    • The Sepharvites Adrammelech and Anammelech, (Few examples only)
    • They are vanity, and the work of errors: (Jer.10: 15)
    • The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
    • They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
    • They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths
    • They that make them are like unto them: (Ps.135: 15-18)
    • So is every one that trusteth in them . ( Ps.135:18)
