FEASTS OF THE LORD ? <ul><li>Lev. 23: 1-2 T he LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD , which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. </li></ul><ul><li>Lev.23: 44 Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD. </li></ul><ul><li>Were the days the Lord called His people to celebrate with Him </li></ul><ul><li>in His joy </li></ul><ul><li>But not “the feasts of the Jews ” (Jn.2: 13; 5: 1) </li></ul>

FEAST OF THE TABERNACLE <ul><li>PROMISE OF THE MILLENNIAL REST </li></ul><ul><li>Micah 4: 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. </li></ul><ul><li>Zechariah 3:10 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree. </li></ul><ul><li>Hosea 12:9 And I that am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast. </li></ul><ul><li>(ISRAEL HAS NOT ENTERED TO THAT REST STILL) </li></ul>

FEAST OF THE TABERNACLE <ul><li>SABBATH WAS THE SIGN OF REST </li></ul><ul><li>We in Christ have that rest (Heb.4: 4-6) </li></ul><ul><li>Israel could not because of unbelief (Heb.4: 9) </li></ul><ul><li>But the promise remain for them (Mic.4: 4) </li></ul><ul><li>Date palm (Memory of Elim- Ex.15: 27 ) </li></ul><ul><li>Willow tree (Memory of Babylon- Ps.137: 1 ) </li></ul><ul><li>Leviticus 23:41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD </li></ul><ul><li>seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. </li></ul>

(For all feasts) </li></ul><ul><li>Lev.23:29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in </li></ul><ul><li>that same day , he shall be cut off from among his people . (Only </li></ul><ul><li>for day of atonement) </li></ul>

FEASTS OF THE LORD <ul><li>DECLINED TO TRADITION </li></ul><ul><li>John 5: 1 After this there was a feast of the Jews; </li></ul><ul><li>and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. </li></ul><ul><li>(Jews celebrated the feasts, but not as the feasts </li></ul><ul><li>of the Lord; declined to traditional celebrations) </li></ul><ul><li>Jn.2: 13; 7: 2 </li></ul><ul><li>Have our Lord’s day and the Lord’s table has declined </li></ul><ul><li>to a traditional gathering ? </li></ul><ul><li>Does the gathering of the saints brings glory to his name ? </li></ul>

FEASTS OF THE LORD <ul><li>LORD DESIRES THE FELLOWSHIP </li></ul><ul><li>Leviticus 23: 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD , which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations , even these are my feasts . </li></ul><ul><li>John 4: 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. </li></ul><ul><li>Psalms 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. </li></ul>
