I say that to say this. I don’t laugh as much as I used to laugh. Although I know how good it feels to myself, and how much laughing is enjoyed by others, I am finding myself in the grind of trying to keep up with the world and all it expects and has to offer. Being an educator and loving to learn, my reality is that the clock still ticks, just like it did when I was young. There are just so many hours in the day. Relationships don’t wait.

Sometimes I don't use technology as effectively as I would like. I plan to focus more intently on how each new tool in Web 2.0 can help me the most in my professional and personal life.

I need to keep the goal in mind. I tend to jump into things, especially technology, with a broad or vague goal in mind. This can be more 'fun' but also more frustrating. Keeping the end in sight, and keeping organized enough to march toward that goal, is going to be the most important.

I love humor and uses it everyday in my teaching. I laugh at myself and join others in doing so as well. I am always interested in the funny background story. As I explore, I like to laugh. It relaxes me. It also allows me to escape and enjoy my learning experience.

I tend to get excited about new things and try to do too much at once. Technology is one area where things can get out of hand for me. I am excited to collaborate with others to learn how we all use the technology available. I wil definitely need help to temper my enthusiasm with a dose of reality. Big picture is my 'thing.' I can use lots of help with logistics! Details, details...

There are almost always hurdles in the technology industry....you have to accept it and move on! In a previous life I was in Quality Assurance in various software companies and without hurdles (aka-bugs in the software) I would not have had a job!

Wow! So many slides to choose from. I need to remember to laugh at myself more and let the small stuff slide. This is going to be fun!

I need to learn to seek out new experiences in which I can push myself beyond my small realm of comfort. I find it very easy to do what I am told to do but it a whole other thing for me to push myself into learning experiences on my own.

I need to learn to push myself into new opportunities where I learn and experience things beyond my small realm of comfort. I find it very easy to do what I am told to do but it is another thing to push myself to do something on my own accord.

I must constantly push myself to engage in new learning opportunities and push myself out of my box. I find it really easy to do tasks and take part in new opportunities when I told to but I find it difficult to find the self-motivation to be a lifelong learner. This is what I feel will be the most important habit for me to develop throughout this course.

I need to keep learning about technology! Staying and learning in my comfortable content area isn't enough:)

Sometimes I go off on tangents and forget where I'm headed. I need to keep my goal in mind, especially when planning curriculum.

I think this will be a challenge for me. I thought art was pecil, paper etc. I am having fun learning and growing in this tech age. I use it way more than I thought I ever would.

Never have I attempted to learn or use a new technology without many, many glitches. Thus, I must remember not to give up when something doesn't work the first time. It does help, though, to walk away from it for a bit before trying again.

The learning toolbox is my goal. To locate, learn, and implement new teaching strategies into mt 'teacher toolbox' for student learning. It is a continuous process and one in which I enjoy. Mike Adams

Most Important for my class: To accept problems as challenges. I get frustrated when technology doesn't work as it is supposed to. I personally know some people who like to spend time figuring out why the technology is not working - I DON'T. So, as I work with the new technology for my classroom, I will need to view the problems as challenges and patiently work through them. I can't call Geek Squad that much! :)

My most important habit to have will be to attempt to teach this to someone else. I tend to function on 'technology overload' after these things and not remember what I needed to learn, but if I know I am responsible for teaching this to someone else, I am more likely to retain information.
