Someare store bought (silly putty, flarp) and others we make inclass. Metric olympics :  activities that teach metric measuresSpeed and velocity lab with matchbox cars.  Studentscalculate the speed and then make minor changes to the car toimprove speed time.  Students get in groups and we have onelarge track that goes across the entire room and we race oneby one.
