      • 550 Apparel and Manufactures in the G.T.A amount to over $9 Billion in sales annually
      • The G.T.A cluster amounts for 16% of Canada’s total revenue from the fashion and apparel industry
      • More then 4,600 retail stores in Toronto
      • The Toronto cluster employs over 50,000 people
      • Toronto is the learning centre for the industry. Fashion programs are offered by four colleges and one university.
      • Designer lines including Lida Baday, Brian Bailey, Joeffer Caoc, David Dixon, Arthur Mendonça, Franco Mirabelli, Pink Tartan, and Sunny Choi got their start in Toronto.

      • The Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI) is an innovative and highly respected non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and nurturing small business entrepreneurs.
      • MEMBERS

      • This program provides students with a thorough foundation in the technical skills needed to design and produce a variety of garments. The This program focuses on the sewing and drafting techniques used in the industry. An annual fashion show highlights successful individual student projects.

      • New York Fashion week brings thousands of designs from around the world to New York and has become one of the must attend shows in the fashion industry
      • Second largest fashion cluster in North America
      • Portland has supported several new upcoming designers such as Climb Max and Leslie Jordan Inc. These companies are all focused on active wear apparel and footwear innovation.
      • Portland holds more than half of the footwear market in North America
      • Cluster aid participating companies to become innovative leaders in their marketplace by utilizing all the resources available to them.
      • Developed fashion clusters such as the ones in Toronto and New York have aided designs involved in the clusters in maximum exposure world-wide.
