    • Examination of biotopes at Tissø
      • Denmark is a very small country, and the country is situated in Northern Europe closed to Sweden and Norway. Denmark consists of three regions. Sjælland, Fyn and Jylland, and we live on Sjælland.
      • We have examined Tissø, because we want to find some animals and plants.
    • Tissø is the fourth largest lake in Denmark
      • The ground
      • Tissø is about 12,3 km², and it
      • The lake is characterize by big
      • changes in of the water level.
      • The large meadows and the reed vegetation is often covered with water in spring and it is dry in summer. In summer and in spring is the water so low, that the coast consist of sand and rook.
      • The east side is dry, and with some interesting vegetation.
      • By the lake Tissø is a narrow land border between the highway and the lake, and there lives the birds who don't want to be disturbed. From here it continue a preserved area to the lake on south to Hallenslev.
      • It has become a Game preserve from 1. September
      • The preserve include decisions by chase and traffic. The preserve is in all 670 ha , hence 60 ha farm land .

      • Chase at birds at the water is that principal rule disallowed.
      • A few people are allowed to hunt after special rules
      • Traffic
      • W ind surfing and sailing by motor boat by more loudly speed than 3 knob is disallowed.
      • Fishing is because of breed birds disallowed from 1. April to 15. July at
      • Tissø
      • Because of the animals the public can not sail or fish at that part of the lake, that implied inside 100 meter from reed forest.
      • Voyage by motor boat or engine can only be effected by leave from Vestsjællands Counties.
    • Examining earth tests
      • In the group we have made three tests from the earth in the lake and on the ground.
      • From the lake to the middle zone and to the wood zone.
      • At our school we have examined earth tests looking for water, organic material and we have measured the ph- value.
    • Water in the earth
      • Water is necessary to the plants. Water is a part of the photosynthesis and is also needed when the nutrient salt is transported around in the different parts of the plant.

      • Black slug is widespread and usual anywhere to Denmark.
      • The reside is not only to the forest that name intimate however too to bush, fence, parking and gardens. Black slug is an extensive, quality snail except cottage.
      • Black slug is one of the ca. 100 sorts from land snail, there reside to Denmark. Majority from land snails bears cottage. The snail except cottage are accessed naked snail.
      • They live from mushroom and plants , however they also eats carcass.
    • Læderløber (carabus convexus)
      • Læderløberen is widespread to whole Denmark, however it is no particularly common. It is one of our greatest beetles.
      • Most of them is black or dark and they have all kind of sizes. They smallest contains 3 mm in length.
      • Mostly you see them is in the forest.
      • Both the grown up beetles and the larva is a beast of prey. They live for the most part from worms , snails and insect larva.
    • Millipede Millipedes eat plants. It is round and have about 100 legs.
    • Spring flue

      • Spring Larva lives in a cottage, that is constructed from plants.
      • It eat algae and various plants..
    • Coot
      • The coal-black coot with the white bliss is a well known view in Tissø.
      • Coot eats mostly only vegetable

    • Heron
      • The Heron catch fish. It keep quite and suddenly it put its head into the water and catch a fish
      • It has its nest in the top of the trees!!
      • Beech
      • The Latin name is Fagus Sylvática.
      • The tree is 40m tall and 1½m thick.
      • The Beech is in flower in May, it is two sexes. The Beech is Denmark’s national tree.
      • Is used for furniture and floors.
      • Ash
      • The Latin name is: Fráxinus
      • Excélsior.
      • The tree is 35 m tall.
      • You can find the tree in the forest and Brushwood. They grow around houses and
      • farms.
      • It’s in flower in April-May.
      • Snowberry
      • The Latin name is: Symphoricárpus
      • Rivuláris.
      • It is a meter tall bush
      • It’s in flower from May to October .
      • Blackberry
      • The Latin name is: Rubus
      • Fruticósus.
      • In Denmark have we have
