Giraldez PVC • Polyvinyl Chloride is a high density film that shrinks at low temperature • It is the most used material used for shrink sleeves • PVC is the most easy material to control in the shrink process • Additional benefits:     Excellent shrinkage rate High clarity level Wide range of shrink ratios & shrink temperatures High impact strength for extra weather resistance • It has the lowest cost, however it is the least environmental friendly material used for this kind of products PETG • Polypropylene Terephthalate Glycol is a high density film wiht a high strength ratio and excellent clarity • It is the most expensive material used for shrink sleeves • PETG is the most heat resistant material for shrink sleeves • Additional benefits:     Excellent scuff resistence Very high gloss percentage Its shrink percentage is higher than PVC PETG is pasteurisable and can be recyclable PLA • Polyactide (it is not an acid) is a biodegradable thermoplastic made of renewable resources • It is the most expensive material used for shrink sleeves • PETG is the most heat resistant material for shrink sleeves EPS foam • Expanded Polystyrene is a reciclable thermal plastic material • It is a strong mecanically material (for its lightness) • EPS foam has a high resistance to heat • Additional benefits: Jose.madrid.es@googlemail.com
