  • 5. Main Idea
    • We may consider the European Comission challenge that all countries from the European Union will be able to converge into Lisbon 2010 frame in regards to acquisition of Key Competences, since quality education should presuppose these Keys acquisition so that Long Life learning turn into reality in the European Society.
    • To understand that Getting a Better Quality of Education means three concepts: Equity-Effectiveness and Inclusion
    • Getting the compromise in students being able to make the Key Competences their own long life learning, to belong as members of a knowledge Society.

  • 7. OBJECTIVES
    • Summary
    • To Develop the Key Competences in each school.
    • 2.- To train teachers in several creative and innovative approaches and methods ,including the Compentences
    • within Secondary currícula.
    • 3.- To work out an Action Plan in each school and carrying it out.
    • 4.-To stimulate the active role of students.
    • 5.- To exchange experiences.
    • 6.-To analyze the results and dissemination.
  • 8. Key Competences Benchmarks
    • European framework Lisbon 2010:
    • Definition of 8 Key Competences for Long Life Learning.
    • Overview of key competences
    Entrepreneurship. . Cultural awareness and expression. Social and Civic Compentence Learning-to-learn. Digital competence Mathematical literacy and basic competences in Science and Technology Communication in a foreign language Communication in the mother tongue

    • Fixing common objectives.
    • Analysing curriculums in each school and inclusion of Key Competences.
    • Encouraging the staffs for innovation.
    • Detecting priorities needs of training.
    • Programming Seminars for training teachers.
    • Making a diagnosis in each school.
    • Planning an Action Plan for being developped during 2 years.
    • Comparing and exchanging results.
    • Evaluating the experience.
    • Creating and publishing a Guide for being disseminated.
    • Improving Quality in Education.

    • Proposal of an Action Plan ( Coordinator )

    Second year
  • 13. RESPONSABILITIES Each delegation will be responsible for an important part of the project. Spanish delegation is the coordinator of the web-site and pedagogical development Italian and Germany delegations are the coordinators of the general evaluation Estonian and Finland delegation are the coordinator of the final publication and product Turkish delegation is the coordinator of the international dissemination Spanish delegation is the coordinator of the total project. Each delegation is responsible for the planification of a Key Competence,only in an organizational way because all the compenteces should be developed at the same time.
