    • How to Clean Your Washer in 10 Simple Steps
    • Step One Fill washing machine with hot water, Add 1 quart bleach
    • Step Two Agitate your machine for about two minutes
    • Step Three Let bleach and water mixture soak for 1 hour
    • Step Four Run a wash and rinse cycle
    • Step Five Fill washing machine again with hot water
    • Step Six Add 1 quart of vinegar (I use your standard white vinegar)
    • Step Seven Agitate machine for about two minutes
    • Step Eight Let vinegar and water mixture soak for 1 hour
    • Step Nine While soaking, dunk a rag in the vinegar-water mixture and scrub the outside of the machine. Make sure to get the soap/detergent dispensers.
    • Step Ten Run the longest wash/rinse cycle on your machine and that’s it!
    • Thanks For Reading! note – Using the bleach and vinegar will kill bacteria, and get rid of soap scum and mineral deposits from the machine basket and hoses. If you have hard water this should be done every three months, while every washer should be cleaned at least twice per year.
