9. 9. Contextual Advertising
What is Contextual Targeting?
Contextual Targeting places pay per click ads on web sites related to what you sell. By targeting your ads to relevant content, you may reach a more qualified audience. Your ads are matched to content using your existing pay per click ads and keywords. Contextual advertising is targeted to the specific individual visiting a website (or page within a website). The advertisements may be displayed on the webpage or as pop-up ads. For example, if the user is viewing a website pertaining to cars and that website uses contextual advertising, the user may see advertisements for car-related companies, such as car dealers.
Benefits
The benefits of Contextual Targeting include greater ad relevance, additional distribution for your ads, and more traffic to your web site. If your objective is to augment the number of web site ads you appear on then this is a great option for you. Contextual advertising often provides a significant boost in revenue for many web sites because of its targeted ads which are more apt to be clicked. A large part of Google's earnings is from its share of the contextual advertisements served on the millions of web pages running the AdSense program.
Other features include:
Bid on site-specific pages that best suits your business.
Reach targeted buyers in a secure environment.
Bid across vertical channels that best suits your business
Enhanced Reporting tools.
Account Management Programs
How does it work?
A contextual advertising system uses an algorithm that scans text of a website for keywords and then matches page content to your ads and keywords based on what the user is viewing... Contextual Targeting is simply a method of distributing ads to more than just search results pages. This helps you gain extensive reach with users way down the research (and/or) purchase cycle.

Call Us: 1 (800) 993-3932
10. 10. Contextual Advertising
Contextual Advertising and Keyword Targeting
Even though Contextual Advertising is similar to Keyword Targeting in that it is based on a cost per-click (CPC) model and you can set your own Max CPC; you can also use specific keywords for contextual advertising provided the keywords you have selected with an ad are relevant and convert well.
Will Contextual Targeting be supported by your API?
Yes. Contextual Targeting will be supported by our industry leading API.
What are Sponsored Results?
Sponsored Results are ads that relate to the search query or context on a given page. Results may be different depending on how the Web publisher decides to display them on their site. Sponsored Results may appear above, to the right of, or within the content or search results. Results are ranked by an algorithm which factors in both ad relevance and Max CPC bid amount.
What is the difference between Contextual Targeting and sponsored search?
Contextual Targeting allows you to target traffic on content pages. Sponsored search allows you to target traffic on search results pages.

Call Us: 1 (800) 993-3932
11. 11. Contextual Advertising
How does Smart Match targeting work?
Smart Match is our most precise targeting option. Using Smart Match, your ad will be displayed for queries that match your keyword exactly or are a small variation on your keyword. These variations include plurals, common misspellings, shared "root" words, and different word orders, but does not include synonyms.
How does Broad Match work?
Broad Match offers advertisers a broader targeting option than Smart Match. Keywords marked "Broad" will match for a wider range of queries, making it easier to drive more traffic to your site. To help avoid unqualified leads, our Negative matching feature can be used to prevent specific queries from returning ads that are set to "Broad" matching.
What's the difference between Smart Match and Broad Match?
Smart Match is more precise, and Broad matching has more reach. Let's say you purchase the keyword "Exhibition Stands." If you set it to Smart Match, your listing will return for "Exhibition Stands", "stands for exhibitions" and "stands exhibition." If you choose Broad matching, your listing will be returned for "I need a stand for an exhibition" and "all-inclusive Exhibition Stands", "designers of exhibition stands" and any other query that contains those terms. Negative matching is available for Broad matching.
What are Negative keywords?
To help avoid unqualified leads to your Broad matched ads, our Negative matching feature can be used to prevent specific queries from returning ads. This helps prevent ads from coming up for irrelevant searches and avoids unwanted clicks. For example, if you bid on the keyword "tires" but don't sell tractor tires, it is a good idea to add the negatively-matched keyword "tractor."

Call Us: 1 (800) 993-3932
12. 12. Display Ads
Deliver display ads to premium publisher Web sites on a bidded CPM basis. 13. 13. Display Ads
How does it work?
Display ads are delivered to category leading publisher Web sites on a bidded CPM basis.
Step One: Choose the topic categories and ad unit sizes that are relevant to your products and services. Each category can have more than one ad unit size.
Step Two: Enter a CPM bid that you are willing to pay for a user to view your image ad. There is a separate CPM bid for each display ad unit under a category. This allows you to control the ad units and spend on each vertical.
Step Three: Your ad is displayed throughout our ultra-premium network of vertical Web sites. The placement of your listing is determined by your CPM bid. The highest bidder will be shown.
Targeted Ads
Ads can be targeted by vertical and relevant content on premium Web sites. Advertisers reach buyers where they find information that helps them buy.
Not a Typical Network
Bid4keywords Site-Focus offers 100% transparency of the Web sites that comprise our network, so you know exactly where your ads are appearing.

Call Us: 1 (800) 993-3932
14. 14. Publishers
Create new revenue streams by displaying relevant keyword-targeted search advertising on your website.
What is the Bid4keywords AdCenter?
The Bid4keywords AdCenter is the platform that supports our global search advertising network. We are able to offer contextual advertisements to web site owners and publishers, who then benefit from new revenue streams. The Bid4keywords AdCenter is an effective revenue stream for those seeking increased revenues from search and website traffic. It becomes a win –win situation that allows both web site owners and publishers to realize profits.
The Bid4keywords Adcenter works by automatically selecting the best, relevant text ads to display as sponsored search results on your website every time a keyword search query is performed by a user.
How do I maximize my earnings? You are compensated based on the quality of your traffic. In short, the more leads are driven to our advertisers from your website, the more you earn...

Call Us: 1 (800) 993-3932
39. 39. Setting Your Daily Campaign Budget
Setting an appropriate campaign daily budget and account refill amount ensures an uninterrupted flow of traffic to your ads. To determine your daily budget, add up the daily cost for the ads in your campaign (you can view the daily cost in the Targeting Optimizer). This is a good indicator of the traffic you can expect, but we encourage you to give yourself a "buffer zone" to get traffic throughout heavy traffic days.

Call Us: 1 (800) 993-3WEB
40. 40. Adjusting the Account Refill Amount
Your account refill amount is the amount you are charged when you first create an account and when your account balance gets low. Your refill amount will not impact traffic to your ads; rather, it determines when you are billed and must be at least three times the sum of your campaign daily budgets. We advise that you set your refill amount to about 30 times your daily budgets so you are billed at approximately monthly intervals. This will ensure that you are not charged too frequently.

Call Us: 1 (800) 993-3WEB
