Design, functionality and ergonomicsThe alternativeIn places where conventional lifts cannot be installed due to lack ofspace, the Compact platform lifts can offer a solution. These typesof lifts do not require a separate shaft nor a machine room. Neitheris a ramp required. The platform lift can be accommodated in a50 mm pit for flat, level entry. The external platform lift ExteriorWhen it comes to installing a lift on the outside of a building, the Exterioroffers a solution. It’s not necessary to build a brick shaft construction in whichto place the lift unless the weather conditions are very cold or humid. Thelift will be installed against the building’s facade and the door with electricalcompartment preferably placed inside the building. The external lift has thesame design as the internal. The lift is delivered with door canopies and shaftroof for best performance. 25
