Wow....this was a beautiful tribute to Brie! I am crying as I’m typing this. I know what it’s like to have a dog that’s like your child, and I can’t imagine losing him. She brought you many years of happiness, and you made the right choice to not prolong her suffering. But it was still an awful choice to make, and I’m so sorry you had to make it! We will be praying for you to find peace with Brie’s passing. Love Desiree and Bill.
When we loose a family member like our beloved doggy it’s one of the hardest loss the entire will have to endure. Brie was your family, she was a special part of each of you and each of you will hold her in your heart. The justice of letting her go to the eternal life was done because you loved her so. The pain & suffering she will not endure, and daily she will bring you closer in love and comfort. We are truely sadden about the loss of Brie, may you find comfort in each others arms and know you did the right thing. Our love and prayers are with all of you. Take care, Doreen & Paul

“ Breezer” Our Tribute to Brie 1996-2009
You were our dog, our puppy Brie, dubbed the special nickname “Breezer” for your gentle ways.
For 13 years you were my/our best friend, the best dog we could have ever had…Always there to be a comfort and cuddle.
I will truly miss my companion who was always there for me through each phase of my life, when I needed an ear to listen, when I needed a hug, when I needed to feel happy or protected. You always seemed to know when we needed your special attention and just how to cheer us up.
Everyone who met you loved you as we did and saw what a great dog you truly were. You will be missed by so many people.
You will never be forgotten, always remembered as our gentle Breezer. We will never have another dog like you, you were truly special and one of a kind. Beautiful, loving, gentle, and playful.
We are so glad to have known you and had the honor of having you in our lives. We will truly miss your cute little antics, barking when any door bell rang, the way you loved to chase those crazy squirrels, going for car rides that you loved so much, lounging on our sofa when we weren’t home even though you knew you weren’t supposed to, how you followed us everywhere, how you made like Houdini and escaped from our sight on numerous occasions to roam free and curiously explore wherever you could go, how sad you looked whenever we would leave, and most of all the way you excitedly greeted us every time we came home.
We were not ready to move on without you, but we know you were tired and ready.
With the birth of one life, another is taken so it seems. We are sad that Alexis will never get to know you, but we are so glad you hung on to meet her and see us through to know we will be ok without you.
You were tough till the end and we never suspected you were sick. Guess you wanted it that way so we didn’t worry. Thank you for making us feel special every day, being a great friend, and the all around best dog … we will miss you so very much.
We have many memories we will carry with us and hope one day to see you again. Go now and watch over all our loved ones in heaven and run free as you loved to do. We will always remember you as the breeze blows, our puppy, our Breezer.
Good bye Brie … We Love You! Brie “Breezer” O’Malley 1/20/09
