  • 5. Why do we need protein? • Proteins form the muscle mass • Transport substances in the blood • Help our body´s defensive system
  • 6. Why does our body need fats and Oils? • Gases and oils provide energy • They help protect organs against the cold and shock
  • 7. Why do we need to eat carbohydrates? • Carbohydrates provide energy • And they have less fat
  • 8. Fruit and vegetables • They are a good for our body in many ways. • We can eat these generously
  • 9. How do dairy foods help our body? It provides calcium which keeps our bones strong. How do dairy foods help our body?
  • 10. Minerals Vitamins and minerals assist with the functions of the nervous system or muscle contractions.
