American Symbols- Step 2 Description - describe three things about yoursymbol: Example: Statue of Liberty 305 feet tall 7 spikes in crown Located at the entrance to New York Harbor U.S. Flag 13 red and white stripes (for 13 original colonies) 50 white starts (for 50 states) Blue field represents perseverance and justice
