5. Abstract
We were part of the ACMA SME Cluster for ten Bosch Suppliers from
period of March 2010 to Feb 2011. We concentrated on Nurturing the
Cluster Spirit, by various initiatives: Hosting 1st MRM, Highlighting
importance of team spirit through drawing parallels with various current
sports events in the various MRM presentations, creating company specific
posters for themes like Overproduction. The net result was that our Cluster
worked as a single entity having 10 CEOs and 500 employees. This spirit
was very much appreciated by our Customer. There is a great degree of
mutual sharing among the various Cluster CEOs even after the Cluster is
over. Also, the employees of each of the companies have been motivated
positively. The spirit of our Cluster is best captured in the photo of the ten
CEOs along with Mentor and Counselor in Indian Cricket team colors. This
was prepared by TEEMAG and distributed to all at the last MRM. We
believe this is a unique initiative and would like to showcase the same as
an inspiration to other SME Clusters. These concepts are also been shown
to our Customer’s other Clusters, as an example of how to build the Cluster
spirit.
