    • 1876 - March 2, Born in Rome Italy of Virginia Graziosi and Filippo Pacelli.
    • 1880 - He entered kindergarten and elementary school
    • 1886 – Holy Communion
    • 1891 – Studied at the Ennio Quirino Visconti Lyceum
  • 5.
    • 1894 – entered the Capranica Seminary and enrolled at Gregorian University
    • 1895 – Received the baccalaureate and licentiate degress in Philosphy at Sapienza School and Theology at Athenaeum of St Apollinaris
  • 6.
    • 1899 – April 2, Ordained to the priesthood. Assigned as curate to the Chiesa Nouva. Continued his studies for doctorate in canon and civil law at the Apollinaries.
    • 1901 – Served as a research aide in the Office of the Congregation of External Church Affairs. Leo XIII sent him to London at Queen Victoria's death

    • 1939 – March 2, Became the 262 nd Pope took the name Pius XII.
      • March 12, called a peace conference of European Leaders with Italy, France, England, Germany and Poland
      • August 24, Last-minute Appeal to head off the out break of WWII
      • September 1, WWII began invaded Poland by the Nazi. Pope spoke at the Vatican Radio.

    • 1939 – Oct.20, issued his First Encyclical, Summi Pontificatus.
    • 1939 to 1945 – Vatican Radio Broadcast appealing for Peace and condemning the Nazism, Totalitarianism, Fascism, Socialism, and Communism
    • 1958 – October 9, Pius XII death .
