First of all, you'll notice that all the other reviews are complaints about how the item
runs.
If you stop and think of it as an MP3 player and not as an IPOD clone then you
would realize how awesome it is.
no, out of the box it is not easy to use, but once you understand it. YOU'LL LOVE
IT! i bought this item for my...accident prone husband.
I bought this 2 years ago and it is still working. It has survived being chewed on by
a pitbull, peed on by a cat, countless cans of soda, a trip through both the washer &
dryer, and it was even LOST under the dryer because it'd been used as a cat toy.
It still works.
This MP3 player i awesome.
