(DAS) subsidiary has beenawarded a contract to manufacture the Boeing 777 aircraft aft engine aft cowl section fromAerospace Dynamics International of Valencia, California. The value of the contract over theperiod of performance is worth up to $26 million. Aerospace Dynamics International-a subsidiary of The Marvin Engineering Group-LosAngeles, California, is a leading supplier of large machined aircraft structures. Ducommun will build these cowl sections at their Gardena, California facility. Ducommun AeroStructures manufactures large, complex structural components andassemblies in aluminum, specialty alloys such as titanium, metal bond and composites for a widevariety of military and commercial aerospace applications. Founded in 1849, Ducommun Incorporated provides engineering and manufacturingservices to the aerospace and defense industry.
